I generally don't care what people use when developing a shared project, but
ususally say "if you're changing someone elses code, use their style".
I also usually define what enums look like, variables, function names etc so
you can see at a glance what's going on and theres not ambiguity.
I use vi and emacs at the same time, though I've having councelling.
