Yes, I didn't have any intention of using Metalink. I didn't even know what
Metalink was until I had this error and started looking at wget2 documentation
and code, server headers, etc.
Side note: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metalink mentions some "In use" (in
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metalink#In_use). For what I can see
openoffice.org, ubuntu are listed as using Metalink but no Metalink headers in
my quick tests (that page might be outdated, or I'm making a mistake on my curl
-I...).

I'm pretty sure (but I don't want to test it right now) that even for slow
connections it wouldn't be faster (overhead of establishing 3039 connections).
