      La FSF Europa se complace en anunciar que la Asociación Nacional para el
      Software Libre (ANSOL) de Portugal pasó a ser una organización asociada
      de la Free Software Foundation Europe (FSF Europa).
    </p>

    <p>
      ANSOL se asocia a la FSF Europa para apoyar activamente sus 
      actividades y su trabajo a favor del software libre en Europa, y 
      para facilitar la cooperación con organizações de otros países de
      habla portuguesa.
    </p>

    <p>
      La primera tarea importante en que ANSOL está trabajando es el estudio
      de las <a href="../law/eucd/eucd-fs.es.html">implicaciones para el
      software libre de la Directiva sobre Derechos de Autor de la Unión
      Europea</a> (EUCD), así como otra legislación europea y nacional.
    </p>

    <p>
      "Esta colaboración es un paso muy importante para las comunidades de
      software libre en Portugal y Europa. Los problemas que enfrenta
      la comunidad del software libre en Portugal son muy semejantes a los 
      que existen en otros países Europeos; uniendo nuestras fuerzas podremos
      resolver esos problemas de una forma más eficiente", declaró Jaime
      Villate, miembro fundador de ANSOL.
    </p>

    <p>
      "La creación de una organización asociada es normalmente el primer paso
      importante para expandir FSF Europa en otro país", declaró Georg Greve,
      Presidente de la Free Software Foundation Europe. "Nos alegra saber que
      personas en Portugal quieran formar parte de nuestra visión de una
      Europa unida al rededor del Software Libre."
