¡Hola gentes!

¡Muchas gracias!

    Free Society translation at Savannah

Hi Cesar,

As RMS suggested, the best way to improve the Spanish translations is
to participate in the Spanish translation team.

Almost all of our pages have a link to
http://www.gnu.org/server/standards/README.translations.html where
under "Translations Underway" one could find the contact details of
the already established teams. http://www.gnu.org/spanish/ is the
home page of the Spanish team; there is also a Savannah "spanish"
project.

Please contact the project admins by email or via Savannah, as you
wish. All teams need help.

As for printing the book, things are more complicated. The English
book is being produced by manually converting the articles in Texinfo.
The source is hosted at the "rms-essays" project. There were some
efforts in the past to make a French book. I have been thinking how
to make this process at least semi-automatic, but it's far from
trivial. We'll discuss this in more details with Joshua Gay and Karl
Berry once the new www.gnu.org translation process takes place.
(Also, Texinfo has some grave i18n issues, slowly being worked upon.
Spanish should work, though.)

Either way, a prerequisite is up-to-date and good quality translations
in HTML format, so please follow RMS' advice. Thank you.
