Hi!
I just tried to run *.exe file produced by exerb tool on native Win98 partition
where
there is no trace of Ruby :-)
All the files are put in one folder, e.g. C:\Ruby and application is run from
there.
Here is the list (as seen from Linux):
-rwxr-xr-x 1 ggd users 1358771 Kol 13 10:04 checklst.exe
-rwxr-xr-x 1 ggd users 14764 Svi 6 22:36 mingwm10.dll
-rwxr-xr-x 1 ggd users 665088 Kol 6 09:38 msvcrt-ruby18.dll
-rwxr-xr-x 1 ggd users 6462822 Srp 28 12:54 wxmsw241.dll
mingwm10.dll is required because of -threads parameter to compiler, then there
is
wxwindows dll library (wxmsw241.dll) and Ruby runtime library
(msvcrt-ruby18.dll).
The sample is checklst.rb.
When I find some more free time I'll try build some other sample which requires
some resources (like icons ..) besides the Ruby script i.e. I have to figure
out how to include them with exerb.
Sincerely,
Gour
