[Xnee-devel] Fw: xnee package

I followed Ross's advice. I fixed the old-fsf-address error, but the
others require your input. First what should the Copyright notice say?
What are the dates, and who exactly should be the holder? Second the
man pages seem to be formatted slight incorrectly, this should be fixed
upstream. Thanx.

Install "lintian" and you'll get some warnings when the package builds.
Most of these are trivial:

W: xnee source: ancient-standards-version 3.6.1 (current is 3.7.3)

I can't think of anything which would hit xnee, so just update the
version in debian/control

W: xnee: manpage-has-bad-whatis-entry usr/share/man/man1/cnee.1.gz

Upstream problem, this should be fixed and pushed to them.

W: xnee: old-fsf-address-in-copyright-file

The FSF have moved.

W: libxnee-dev: copyright-without-copyright-notice

The copyright file should say "Copyright (C) [dates] [holder]" and it
doesn't.

These are all fairly simple to fix.  For more details on each warning,
echo it into "lintian-info".
