The performance of krfb really sucks, because it needs to poll the screen by 
calling XGetImage a million times per second. It would need something like 
the XDamage extension, or the XFree 4 VNC implementation. The latter is 
currently not useful for krfb though, because a) it is not flexible enough in 
its password handling and b) it does not run everywhere, e.g. with the 
proprietary nvidia drivers.
