Oh, I misunderstood. I heard that there might be an autodetection system added
to xserver, but it wont replace having XF86Config, just augment it. Xserver 
right now is pretty smart, all you need to do is tell it what input device and
video card you use, and it can pretty much guess the rest.

Most distros have their X config programs hooked up to autodetect stuff, so
this is a moot point.
