This backtrace shows what is wrong.  I would definitely say that you
have two examples of xlib installed, old and new.  Or not all old
xlib's .elc files was substituted with new ones after instalation.  To
be sure of it evaluate:

  (X-Dpy-formats (X-Win-dpy XH-win))

during XX-Hello window is running.
