I found that you use .zutilsrc in $HOME directory for program config. It's really annoying when every single program has its own config in ~/.programrc and this nomber grows to the point, where home directory is not a user's home anymore.
So I have kind reques and change the current convention of putting the configurations to follow XDG Base Directory Specification [1] and put zutils config in ~/.config/ directory.
It's not only GUI applications that use that [2].
There always can be check for ~/.config/zutils, and if not found then ~/.zutils.
Second thing is the name. In /etc, there is only one ~rc file I found (namely wgetrc), all the others use just a program name or program-name.conf.
There is no need to use `rc' in name, just `zutils' would be fine. Specially ~/.config/zutils of ~/.config/zutils.conf would be fine.
Hope you find it convincing.
Regards
Adam
