Summary: GTK/GNOME HIG ification

Original Submission: Hi,

Just a suggestion, even if you are not a GNOME application, making use of the
huge amount of usability work that's gone into the GNOME/GTK HIG
(http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig) can be a smart move. Obviously,
the GNOME-specific parts would be ignored, but the suggestions for spacing,
labeling, proper usage of dialogs, etc. can really help with your "intuitive"
goal. The people on address@hidden will offer a lot of help if asked, for UI
suggestions and such. Definitely an excellent resource for making a good,
intuitive UI.
