I think there's a memory leak in 0.2.2. After running ayttm for about
24 - 48 hours it becomes really slow. It keeps getting slower and
slower. Close chat boxes doesn't resolve the issue. When you finally
close the app then it can actually literally slow the machine down to
the point that my clock stops ticking in fluxbox. Eventually the
machine is usable again.
This was right before I'd closed it after running it for about 24 hours:
address@hidden breser]$ ps auxwww | egrep 'ayttm|%CPU'
USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
breser 4007 0.3 0.8 17256 13680 ? S Mar14 4:48 ayttm
This is about the same time with it open, connected and the chat boxes
open again:
USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
breser 8723 0.3 0.3 9916 6096 ? S 17:46 0:00 ayttm
Not a whole lot of difference but something is going on. It wasn't
doing this with 0.2.1 so it's related to some change that was made
between 0.2.1 and 0.2.2. It's a clean 0.2.2 except for the restore chat
log fix...
Any ideas. Any suggestions for where to look for the issue?
