Follow-up Comment #4, bug #12155 (project gv):
The gv-gs-hidden-param.patch indeed works, but it first requires this patch
to be reversed (which in addition to breaking the -dFIXEDMEDIA patch, seems
to cause saved parameters in the .gv file, like GV.watchFile, to be
ignored):
