Hi,

That's true.

The next GNU gv release (3.6.6) will provide an updated mapping for the return key as suggested by http://bugs.debian.org/230297 . I have choosen the return key because the function of the space key is worth keeping it. The "old" function of the return key equals the function of the "page down" key and IIRR the "F" key, so we neally do not need a 3rd key for that function.

In the mentioned debian bug report you also find hints how to apply changed key mappings (esp. see message 35), but notice that you have to copy and paste the unchanged keys, too.

Greetings from Germany

BTW: Bernhard, with the next GNU gv release you can close your bug report #230297.
