hi,

I'm using gv under macos X. after some problems more or less solved (thanks...) for the time being it does work again, but I now encounter deterministic refusal to anti-alias certain images (originally separate pdf-files enclosed by pdflatex in the document) within a pdf-file. gv throws the message:

===========CUT==========
Error: /unknownerror in --.FAPIBuildChar--

when switching from normal to antialiased display on the affected page (normal display is OK). this happens with some images but not with others. the same file can be displayed without problems in xpdf and other previewers.

if need be I can provide an example file.

any ideas?

thanks
joerg
