As I have a SLACKWARE system, I have installed what can
be found at:

ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/slackware/slackware-13.1/source/x/xaw3d/

This has not been changed since I have installed it on
my system (May 2010).

The 'git.savannah.gnu.org' patch did not help. Only after
replacing all

  XtNstring, s

with

  XtNstring, strdup(s)

the segfault disappeared.

By the way: I have - after some changes - 'gv' compiled and
installed using 'neXtaw-0.15.1' instead of Xaw3d. Only the
'git.savannah.gnu.org' patch has been applied.

No segfault during some tests.
