Hi there!
Thanks for httptunnel. If I'll get this up&running, it will
add alot flexibility to my work!
I where successfully testing it at home, but now I do
experience some problems while trying it behind the real
firewall.
hts is up and running. My htc where started like:
./htc -F 8888 hostname.of.my.homecomp:80
Which is starting up without complaining it seems. If
I try to connect afterwards with:
ssh -p 8888 localhost
I do get:
ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host
Windows Application Monitoring says:
htc : Win32 Process Id = 0x770 : Cygwin Process Id = 0x770 :
tunnel_new_client: set_address: Operation not permitted.
htc : Win32 Process Id = 0x770 : Cygwin Process Id = 0x770 :
couldn't create tunnel.
I tried running the client on solaris side after that:
Apr 15 10:14:27 htc[29727]: [ID 355283 daemon.error] tunnel_new_client:
set_address: Bad file number
Apr 15 10:14:27 htc[29727]: [ID 958697 daemon.error] couldn't create tunnel
Apr 15 10:14:27 htc[29727]: [ID 858867 daemon.notice] exit with status = 1
Is there anything obvious Iam missing?
Thanks alot for your help!!
Daniel
