The problem caused by case sensitive tags [Savannah bug: 15891] have been taken care of by extending the use of the case-sensitive flag. More details are available at

The songanizer-1.0beta tarball will soon be put up and can be accessed by FTP (ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/songanizer/
) or HTTP (http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/songanizer/). The CVS repositories would also be given a much needed update.
