If it does the same thing as 'cvs update', then yes. Make sure you do
it from the top of the tree.

Great, but you won't be able to commit such a muddled patch as that.
I'd suggest you get a fresh tree somewhere else (using the proper 'cvs'
command on a GNU/Linux machine is probably the cleanest option). If you
need me to talk you through any of this, I'm on IRC.
