[circle] Proxy

I'm behind a firewall that blocks quite a few ports, but I have ssh access to 
a host outside. I'm unsure how to use the ssh proxy mentioned in the 
documentation; it seems to rely on autodetection. Any ideas? (I'm using cvs.)
