  Hello all,

Well, Christian and I spent a few hours tracking bugs, especially
the bug #116009 that prevented installation in some cases. We've been
able to fix plenty of minor bugs, and hopefully we have found (and
fixed) the most major bug. This results in the uploading of the
2.5-10+16 release to <URL:http://people.debian.org/~lolando/>, and the
decision to call it a second release candidate for 2.5-11.

So, we are looking for feedback. Preferably positive feedback
(i.e. something along the lines of "Yes, it works now"), but I'll take
any kind. If the bug is actually fixed, I'll add the appropriate
entry to the changelog and upload the resulting 2.5-11 package to the
official Debian distribution. Please tell me this bug is fixed, it's
getting on my nerves. (Richard, Tim, I'm winking at you ;-)

As a side note: I plan on spending the next four days working
fulltime on Debian Sourceforge, and the plan is to start working on
the 2.6 version. I have no idea how to get started on this huge task,
but the point is to eventually have a smooth upgrade path from 2.5 to
2.6, as well as a way to install 2.6 from scratch.

Thanks for your attention (and patience in the case of buggy
packages),

Roland.
