Ah yes, I can see that can be a problem.

  Supporting upgrades within the 2.6 branch basically requires that
installing 2.6 from scratch and installing 2.6 over 2.5 yields the
exact same data schema.  I've started to work on it, and I have a nice
script to help me know the differences, but I'm not finished yet.
Depending on work, holidays, and other real-life stuff, it's hard to
tell when it'll be done, but I'll try to have it finished within a
month.  Hopefully, at the end of April, maybe sooner if no problem
arises.  It's really my #1 priority at the moment (well, keeping in
mind that the priority #0 is fixing the bugs in the released package
as soon as they appear).
