[Debian-sf-devel] Estimated 2.6 stable date?

Is it possible to estimate the release date of a stable 2.6?  For a while I
thought it was getting quite close.

Now that the splitting effort is underway I suspect that the stable 2.6 is
further away.  I've no doubt that splitting the package will lead to a
more stable "stable."
