It's not about slides, it's about moving around in the structure. You
cannot drag out moving around 10 steps to take 10 seconds.

The question is not whether to change slides per 100ms, it is not to
have 1000ms gaps between keyframes. For a movie analogy, try playing a
divx on a computer that is to slow for it, and will something like 250ms
gaps while playing; it very much degrades the experience. :)
