Hi everyone

This morning I received the attached email. I just wanted to let you all
know about the invitation. I obviously can't make it from California (unless
they do offer me a flight across ;).  But I suggested that Spencer or Rory
could give a presentation.

Hopefully we'll get to present at the conference - good publicity! Now 
we just got
to finish all the books ;)

I came across the free physics books site after someone recommended it to me (very vaguely, so I had to find it through some searching). I saw your name on the site, and am writing to you to ask (URGENTLY) how I can get in touch with you.

 

I work with the Access to Learning Materials project in SA, a 5 month old initiative funded by the Open Society Inst. - on copyright law and the public domain in education. Really like your work, and would like to get you up to Johannesburg to talk about your work at a conference we are organizing next week. Hence the urgency.

 

So - if this is your email, I'd appreciate it if you would get back to me with a phone number for you (I'm working this evening and tomorrow) - can call and update you with what we are doing, or can send you stuff over email.

 

In either case, just want to be sure that this is your email address....
