Hello,
Attached is an attempt to incorporate gnulib's 'bootstrap' script into
findutils.
This was discussed some time ago here:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-findutils/2011-05/msg00078.html
The changes are minimal, to keep as close as possible to the existing
'import-gnulib.sh' script.
But in the future, perhaps this could help with using gnulib's
'git-version-gen',
and fetching translation automatically, and non-recursive makefiles.
Few things which were in 'import-gnulib' but are not included in this
'bootstrap':
1. checking for the 'old' gnulib directory layout
2. the 'hack/copy' functions (copyright year patching?)
3. updating the version file
Comments are welcome,
