I see the problem.  Your motherboard doesn't support the "Get Sensor
Thresholds" command.  As far as I can tell, this isn't supposed to be
optional, it's supposed to be required.  Sigh ...

The SDR usually contains threshold information too (although it's
possibly not the most recently configured threshold, which is why I
ignore it), so I can use that instead as a workaround.

I'll e-mail you when I'm done with a new beta version.
