Argh!  B/c this was generated by software, the generator ID is not
correct, leading to the alternate output. (the [21] above is normally
[20] if generated by hardware)

Did you try the Supermicro software?  It's certainly possible they'll
ignore the generator ID.  Their software might be hard-coded to handle
their hardware and so they may not do all the same checks that I do in
FreeIPMI.
