[Freeipmi-devel] Epel and freeipmi binaries

Hi,

Is there any reason why the EPEL or other linux distros still contain ancient 
versions of freeipmi?  Are there any redhat rpm spec files available to create 
an binary rpm.

People are using old versions of freeipmi because that is what is currently 
available in EPEL.
