Hi Al,

I've had the same issues like Scott and tested the new SVN version.
I works for me now (test system has a X9SCM-iiF mainboard in a SC216 chassis).
I've also tested unplugging a power cable, which works fine as you can see here:

State before unplugging the cable:
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-pmbus-power-supply-status 0
Supermicro:get-pmbus-power-supply-status invalid OEM option argument '0'
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-pmbus-power-supply-status 1
good
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-pmbus-power-supply-status 2
good
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-power-supply-status 0
Supermicro:get-power-supply-status invalid OEM option argument '0'
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-power-supply-status 1
good
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-power-supply-status 2
good

Then I unplugged one of the two power cables:
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-pmbus-power-supply-status 0
Supermicro:get-pmbus-power-supply-status invalid OEM option argument '0'
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-pmbus-power-supply-status 1
bad
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-pmbus-power-supply-status 2
good
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-power-supply-status 0
Supermicro:get-power-supply-status invalid OEM option argument '0'
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-power-supply-status 1
bad
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$ ipmi-oem/ipmi-oem -h 10.1.102.140 -u ADMIN -p
**** -l ADMIN Supermicro get-power-supply-status 2
good
address@hidden:~/svn/freeipmi$

Thank you for fixing this issue.

Best regards,
Werner
