[Freeipmi-users] freeipmi-0.2.3 on FreeBSD (from 6.2-release on amd64) failing to probe IPMI device

I have installed the latest Freeipmi-0.2.3 from packages available for 
6.2-release for FreeBSD (amd64)
with guile-1.6.8 as its dependency.

Cann't figure out where the problem lies.
