yes, of course

e.G. 
Intel Server-Management (tested on Windows XP)
the Linux-port of this Software  will probably do, but I've
never tested because the Install-Script is testing for specific Distros as 
RedHat Enterprise Server  or SuSe Linux Enterprise SLES 9

I'm using OpenSuse 10.2

Openipmi is partially working after applying Kernel Patches
from the OpenIpmi Project but many Errors and wrong Values
Imho  problem of the 'custom' opensuse Kernel-Changes)
BMCSENSORS and the redesign IpmiSensors have never worked for me;-((



Currently I'm using DPCPROXY AND DPCCLI (Intel Commandline Access)
but this litte Part of Software won't allow local access (only remote Linux 
and Windows Hosts) and  can't be interated into LM-Sensors or NAGIOS
for Hardware monitoring

Hope you have any Ideas how to help the Intel users out there......
