[Freeipmi-users] Dell OEM commands for setting fan thresholds?

Hi,

I would like to change the fan failure threshold of my Dell server.
Unfortunately, they are read-only. The manual says that these values
are not user-changeable, but are configured by your OEM. 

I think there might be IPMI commands for doing this - I doubt that they
reflash the BMC bios when they start using different fan model. Is
there anything like this? Where could I find out? Where did the Dell
OEM commands specification come from?
