Greetings!  maxima has shipped an incorrect sys-proclaim.lisp file in
this release.  You can see the maxima mailing list for details.  To get
a good build, rm -f src/sys-proclaim.lisp; ./configure --enable-gcl
--enable-sys-proclaim && make && make check.

Please let me know if problems persist.
