I love this "compromise". Many thanks for suggesting it!

At this point, may I ask you to help us with the git repo? You sound like you have a lot of experience with it and I would love to have someone like you helping me about it! You just need to contact Krisi (in CC) and she will add you to the project. I hope this is OK for you. MANY thanks in advance!!

P.S. Please, keep me in CC when you do this thing with Kristina so I can see how it goes and I can use the repo as soon as possible. Thanks!

Okay, this does make sense. It will be easier for you to experiment until
settle down on particular design decisions and features you want for 1.0.0.

However, it also does make sense to release the code in a pre-release/alpha/
beta/feature-freeze/you-name-it state in order to give an opportunity for the
community to review, fix and optimize right before 1.0.0 release. I think this
will lead to a more mature and stable first release.

How do you feel about such middle ground?
