Yes. You need to do a pipe internally in jave by opening, duplicating and
closing descriptors.

Exactly. You just need to send EOF at the end of the input. And there's no
EOF in the ASCII table. But eg. closing the pipe or soecket is treated as
the end of the socket. Or see the gnokii.c and change sendsms() reading
the input to fit your needs.
