sendsms core dumps on 6210

Promblem regarding gnokii --sendsms

I have installed gnokii
GNOKII Version 0.4.0pre17 
on a dell latitude cpi and using a cabel DLR-3P. 
I use a Nokia 6210 model phone. 

No problem installing and configure the software, but I do get a
coredump when trying to sendsms. 
hope someone can help!
