Interfacing to a Nokia 3310

Hi,

As you may know, there is an SMS chip that can interface to a Siemens GSM
phone, providing a means of external device control.

I was wondering if you know of any other SMS chip that can interface to a
Nokia 3310 mobile phone, providing similar functions.  Else there could be
another possibility, maybe interfacing the 3310 to a microcontroller such as
the PIC or Motorola.

Any ideas are welcome.
