Mac OS X, DKU-5 and Nokia 6610

Hi,

I'm trying to connect my Nokia 6610 to iBook G4 (running 10.4.5) using DKU-5 
cable. The problem is that when I connect the phone I don't see anything like 
cu.USA28X1P1.1 in /dev (which is suggested by the manual) . In particular, I 
don't 
see any changes there at all and dmesg does not report any changes either. The 
phone and cable seems to be working (tested them with PC Suit). 

Any suggestions?
