The existing server instructions involve manually editing
postgresql.conf etc
Does this script information belong above the method
GNUmed specific PostgreSQL configuration at
http://salaam.homeunix.com/bin/view/Gnumed/DatabaseOnGNULinux
Also the script refers to a server version 1.4 but we also refer to a
database V4 --- is that because the databases can only be named in
whole numbers (not decimals) as
gnumed_v[N]
?
At
http://salaam.homeunix.com/bin/view/Gnumed/ConfigurePostgreSQL
should we change "GNUmed is known to work with PostgreSQL 7.4, 8.1,
and 8.2" to say that GNUmed requires PostgreSQL 8.1or just to say
that the newer, simpler install scripts require 8.1?

script 'dh-install_gnumed_server.sh' This so rocks. Just download
the script,
become root and run it. It will install all the packages needed and
produce a
current database. Do not run this script if you have a working
database
already as it will destroy it (after asking you to confirm). Use the
upgade-db script like this instead: upgrade-db.sh 6 7.
