Is it easily achievable to set the column symbol (by default, in shipping 
GNUmed) to

        U+00A4

while allowing the praxis to somewhere declare, and store, a glyph preference 
that is appropriate to whatever currency they are using for their billables?

Ideally, the designation could be incorporate into whichever data packs the 
praxis uses.
