Doing
grep -e '-+' `find -type f`'
within groff's `font' directory tree you can see that this symbol is
by default only contained in the `S' fonts for -Tlj4 and -Tdvi. For
-Tps, it it maps to glyph `uni2213', but there is no font for it in
the standard setup.
