MacVim because a) I use Macs and b) it isn’t as headache inducing as emacs.
(That said there are times when emacs is appropriate such as preparing
documents using DocBook, texts with complex requirement that need to be managed
in a structured way or very large text but awk code in contrast is not complex.)
