In general, for random packages in Unstable, Testing or Stable, "http://packages.debian.org"; contains a complete list of Debian packages. That site is still down since after the compromise of the Debian servers though :-(. When it gets back up however, it should contain what you are looking for.
BTW, why don't you apply to be a Debian maintainer? Cheers //Johan
