Subject: | [Linphone-users] Packet drop in oRTP |
Date: | Tue, 30 Mar 2010 11:39:42 +0530 |
Hi All, I am using the oRTP library for VoIP transfer and is
witnessing packet drops i.e. “packets that arrived late”. I have tried the transfer over my local network, and also
over two VMs on the same machine on a host-only network. According to my understanding I should not get packet drops
using the two VMs on the same machine. I have tried adjusting the jitter buffer size but I am
unable to produce a ZERO packet drop. I am using the test programs provided in the TESTS/ folder. Can oRTP be used for zero packet drop for VoIP transfer in
controlled environment? Thanks in advance.
