Hi, I was the one who had trouble with compiling C++ machines. One
thing: the error I got was different. But anyway, I fixed it by
compiling with "g++" rather than "gcc". They should work the same but
they don't seem to on my system. I also used the "-shared"
option. Hope this helps a bit. I'm just trying to put any knowledge I
have in so that you don't need to reinvent the wheel. :-)
