Follow-up Comment #2, patch #9984 (project octave):
After installing and loading the package mexbiosig, it should be possible to
run the commands mexSLOAD, mexSSAVE, mexSOPEN. When no argument is provided, a
help/usage information should be displayed.
You can also download this example file and try to open it with
wget https://pub.ist.ac.at/~schloegl/download/TEST_44x86_e1.GDF
[data,HDR]=mexSLOAD('TEST_44x86_e1.GDF');
