We are very close to having decentralized social networking that we can
all use. I wanted to take this time to remind everyone that any project
that is free software is a win in this, not GNU social -- we're not
trying to win, or be the first or best in any of this, and when we see
things from other projects, we should consider adopting them as well.
I look forward to a future of many different social networking systems,
interacting and sharing things, like many different email and web
systems do today.
