Hi!

Florian just successfully uploaded the first version of our
payto://-draft to IETF. The goal is to create an easy way to specify
wire transfers, i.e. so that when you want to withdraw funds from a
non-cooperative bank that doesn't have "nice" Taler integration, you can
still just give your banking application a wallet-generated payto-URL
instead of filling in some wire form. Naturally, there are many other
applications beyond Taler itself, hence the IETF submission.

As always, feedback is welcome. In particular it would be great expand
section 5 with more references for common payment methods beyond
SEPA/UPI/ACH and Bitcoin. (Note that the reference really needs to
define a wire transfer routing format, such as an IBAN.)

Happy hacking!

Christian
