   OK.  I'll document 0.8.0 as the minimum then.

Looks like i spoke/acted too soon.  I now see that in the
download dir <http://ftpmirror.gnu.org/taler/> there is exchange
0.8.1 but only merchant 0.7.0.  So, if we are emphasizing only
realeased packages, then either:

(a) We should release merchant 0.8.x soon(ish) and document
    0.8.0 as minimum.

or:

(b) We should document 0.7.0 as minimum.

Which one is the best choice?  Or am i missing something?

Personally, i think (a) would be better since it is moving
"forward", so to speak.  I wonder why merchant 0.8.0 has a Git
tag (v0.8.0) but no released tarball...
